@alexbrooklyn thanks! I’ve been working extremely hard on some studio equalizer hardware controlled by an Arduino, and it’s attached to a SPI-controlled 128x160 LCD display! I’ll post pictures soon.

p100sch15004y@OmerFlame Nice, a good dad he is indeed. I envy you, my hardware projects are still waiting for my friend to come back and have some time to work on it.

@uyouthe it’s not an amp, it’s a digitally-controlled display-monitored analog equalizer! It’s a WIP and we are currently seriously puzzled and we also fried the shit out of our Arduino with the heat of a thousand suns by accident...

p100sch15004y@OmerFlame Just a D1 mini with an ESP8266 with a bunch of sensors that should connect to eighter a local acesspoint or another machine acting as an accesspoint.
The receiver eighter forwards the event or acts accordingly.
The receiver is written in Python to make custom actions easy to define and the ESP8266 is programmed in plane old C.
I was not confident enough to optimize it in Assembly. -
p100sch15004y@OmerFlame The friend is responsible for Python front and backend, I implemented the ESP code, board designe and schematics. I have not yet assembled a PCB prototype, just bread board for now.

@p100sch nice! Our project is running too slowly right now so we think we’re going to split it into 2 Arduinos that communicate with each other...
-
p100sch15004y@OmerFlame Btw, we came up with the project as a creative way to close windows when coworkers are about to sneak up on you.

@p100sch SO COOL! Now I can watch por-uhhhhh I meant work on some private Swift file encryption projects.
I’m back! I’ve been inactive because I forgot installing the app again :P
