How I work:

I drink lots of coffee and pass out for 12 hours.

It’s like alcoholism, just less productive.

    Your body can only take so much coffee. Don't abuse it

    @asgs it’s a joke, I don’t drink SO much coffee. 2 a day.

    @Bybit260 I actually kinda need it, it’s really hard for me to wake up properly

    @OmerFlame I mean Alcohol.
  • 2
    @Bybit260 oh, I made a joke about alcoholism, I fucking hate alcoholic drinks. I took a sip of beer once and I hated it like I priests hate satan. Seriously. I don’t drink any alcohol.
  • 2
    @OmerFlame good path to hold, the other way only has headaches in store
  • 1
    @matt-jd I imagine.

    I do drink coffee though!
  • 3
    @OmerFlame Beer is vile. Spirits and mixed drinks are delicious. Seriously, try a mai tai, mojito, Long Island, etc. you’ll change your tune.

    To @matt-jd’s point about headaches, you (probably) won’t get one if you drink enough water beforehand. Hangovers are mostly from dehydration. If you’re more sensitive, avoid the darker (and sweeter!) alcohols; anything clear and dry (dry meaning non-sweet) will keep you happy the next morning.

    @Root thanks for the tip for the future.

    Does drinking water AFTER alcohol help hangovers?
  • 2
    @OmerFlame If you already have a headache/hangover, not really...

    @Root interesting. Alright, thanks!

    @Root well I also had in mind the alcoholism mentioned in the very first post

    @OmerFlame it does! I can also recommend drinking tea(good tea) eating fat foods such as kebab or pizza will also help. Really any food and rehydration will help!

    Coffee every morning is like a fucking wake up elixir to me.

    Then there's alcohol, it's fucking NOT(wake up elixir) for me.
  • 2
    @matt-jd It does, but it takes a long time. Better to prevent.
  • 1
    @matt-jd getting mixed signals from you and @Root. I think this is a personal thing. Well, I’m still too young to drink but when I will start to (in special occasions of course) I will take both of your experiences into consideration.
  • 1
    @Ranchonyx I was talking about drinking coffee.

    I FUCKING LOVE COFFEE
  • 2
    @Root definitely keeping well fed and hydrated during the entire day before drinking, hell even a monster of a pizza for lunch saved me quite well once

    @OmerFlame you will find what works for you eventually
  • 1
    @OmerFlame as @Root said, beer is piss. Can't stand the shit. On the few occasions I do drink, it's always a mixed drink, although if you don't drink I don't really know why you'd start.

    @sudo-woodo again, I’m 16.

    @OmerFlame all the more reason not to start

    @OmerFlame No mixed signals.

    Drinking water after you get a headache/hangover absolutely helps, but it takes quite awhile. You will still be miserable.

    Drink water beforehand, preferably over the entire day. No misery.

    Eating beforehand helps, too, because it increases the time it takes your body to metabolize the alcohol, and food also contains small amounts of water. Carbs seem to work best for this, but caution: if you load up on carbs, drink more water as they require more water to metabolize.

    Worst hangover ever? Drinking too many strong dark or sweet drinks, while thirsty, and eating nothing but salted peanuts. Add loud music to this and you will want to die the next day.

    @Root fuck. I listen to music all the way up on my headphones. So no music for me after drinking (in the future)
