Any time I have to write something longer, I write it down in an editor - this way I have it stored until I explicitly discard it. It'd be nice if devRant remembers posts you haven't submitted, but there's also a lot of other sites that don't remember.

@N00bPancakes @alexbrooklyn hack your editor to save as you type and implement an onsave hook to git commit and push to your own remote gitlab instances behind several fail overs which then save the repo on a distributed filesystem. Distributed over several continents of course. Easy way to never lose your notes again.

I don’t trust online shit on saving my data. I always write long stuff in offline editor (iA writer or sublime, yes, I got licenses) and paste it when I finish

@theuser Lots of stuff that someone might take for granted is missing, so take it as it is. From what I know this is a hobby project that receives hardly any monetisation.
