Tab S6 and Samsung notes. I used to use Bamboo paper, but the lack of pen mode sucks. I like writing by hand and Samsung has this cool OCR that can convert your handwriting to text, so if I want to send something to someone, I don't have to rewrite it.

M$ To-Do for the day to day, Jira for the projects.

I use a stenography machine. Increase wpm through compression.

Notion is a database disguised as note taking app. But it's a collaborative workspace really. You can choose between views, kanban, gallery, list.

I use Trello. It has a mobile app, an Electron app, I can use it on any system. It's simple enough that I don't waste time on it. And it keeps track of as many tasks as I throw it. Don't need any of the fancy integrations, its just a nice, visual representation of my todos that works for me

Notion, TickTick and GitHub issues. I'm not productive tho.

Pen and paper, notepad++ and linqpad for experiments and example code.

I get a lot of use from Ditto clipboard. Especially Slugify option to create a branch name from work item's title.

E.g. "Task 124: Replace label" becomes "task-124-replace-label". I just manually detele "task-" bit

post it, notepad++, trello, standardnotes, google tasks/calendar ...i've failed to use them all

Lack of discipline to go back regulary and do updates/follow ups can't be compensated even by the best time management tools available.

emaca orgmode is pretty good for simple stuff and has the ability to increase in complexity for more advanced tasks. Thing is: it requires emaca knowledge to begin with

Trello/ClickUp/Jira+Confluence (depending on if it's a team project or just me).
Mind, I still write TODO in the code depending on where I am on my mental queue.

@Root always wanted to incorporate whiteboard intiy my workflow, but sadly don't have a convenient place for it. Digital solutions are not a good replacement unfortunately. How your setup with the whiteboard looks like? I am curious to see pictures 🤔

However: whiteboard desk covers are nice on large desks. Small whiteboards are nice because you can take them with you if you’re like me and debug best by wandering. I might even opt for a whiteboard wall cover in my new office!
