It's not overheating, heating up is the defense mechanism of the body, so intended.

Evaporating Vinegar on one of the 4 heat pipes has always proven to be effective so far. But added ice helps run the cpu cooler until the vinegar did its magic.

I mean... this would let the body heat up to fight the infection naturally... while also keeping the brain at a slightly lower safe temperature.

Is there no way we could just submerge the child's head into a cooling solution? That would increase contact surface area while still allowing the body to heat up.
