I fucking love how the Cyberpunk 2077 disaster goes down... and then, silently, Kerbal Space Program 2 pushes their launch date back again by another year.

Lol, is someone a little afraid? Take your time, boys.

Cyberpunk is not that bad. Yes, there are some bugs but so far I didn't experience many. Performance wise, it is also not that bad. Like for example PUBG looks like horse shit and it still had performance problems for a long time after launch. At least Cyberpunk looks really good.

About Kerbal Space Program, well the delay hurts a bit but if it is really because they want to fix stuff, then why not? There is so much going on in that game, I mean it cannot be easy to develop it.

@lamka02sk I'm not complaining about CP2077. I never had any intention to play it and I still won't, it's not my style of game. I am talking about the huge fallout and the major vendors offering refunds on CDPR's behalf. What a disaster.

@lamka02sk are you playing the console or pc version? Im a console guy and totally not getting this game on the console anytime soon.

"when it's done" was the running gag until Duke Nukem Forever released in 2011 after 14 years of development.

"when it's done" should be the new motto again after the cyberpunk debacle. So it will hopefully come good things out of this like how games are managed and released.

I fucking love cyberpunk 2077. 0 ducks as to console peasant frustration. 😎

Lol I’m a proud console peasant for life! PS4 is pretty damn cutting edge for me since I grew up playing snes. I got a ps5 and this thing is like playing a damn movie...and it’s just 500 bucks. But yeah pc will always outshine consoles when it comes to graphics

Well at least pc versions allow mods. Hopefully cyberpunk 2077 will be modded to the extent gta v was! There’s this one mod where you can play as a shark 😂! You can only swim but I want to see one where you’re a shark stealing cars bc I’ll be laughing my ass off until I pass out if I see that lol

LMAO there’s one with a seagull carrying a gun 😂! This is so hilarious! I’m dying here!!! Straight belly laughs!

@lamka02sk how can a game be developed this long and still be "state of the art"? I mean 14 years must've been a lot of changes happening, especially software-/hardware-wise, economically, how does the project survive all that and still be good?

Most games made 5 years ago are completely outdated these days.

I refuse to buy games new, or pre-order since the whole no mans sky shenanigans.

I honestly don't know why people do anymore since every major title ends up being released half assed these days, yet expect the full price for features that hardly work or worse... don't get added in the first place 🤔

Waiting for it as well. As well as for Nier Replicant

Atleas KSP dares to postpone the game a reasonable ammount of time.

Cyberpunk is the first game I own that utilizes more than half of my cores.

    I have 12.

@d-fanelli hah, pleb. CP77 without proper ray tracing. Get ownd.
  • 0
@bagfox no prob! I’m fine with my PlayStation 5, the ps5 and series x can still do ray tracing. They’re no match for that 3080 but 500 bucks is a total steal. There will still be a ps5 and series x version of cyberpunk next year

    Cyberpunk is not that bad.

Kh3, on the other hand... *Cries in 7 different ways for the development time and in 13 different forms of himself for the story/lore*

@C0D4 the one case in which I'd consider "preordering" (Kickstarter really) is something like Divinity, where the budgets are lower and I want to support that because very few people make good games of that kind (CRPG) any more and it kinda depends on community participation. I backed Larian for Divinity, couldn't be happier with how they handled it. I love CRPGs and would happily pay extra for a good one because they're so rare and not mass market and also excellent return on investment.

They released Baldur's Gate 3 in an unfinished state but said outright that it was unfinished and early access, so if you want to play it now and find bugs and stuff you can. And I did, it's shaping up to be a pretty good game. I'm good with unfinished games as long as the studio says it's so and that they'll finish it over time. Honestly if Hello had said No Man's Sky was unfinished and they wanted to add blah blah to the game I'd still back it. It's pretty fucking amazing right now.

It’s actually not CDPR’s fault that their game is buggy. It’s only the investors and the mass media who is to blame here, really. Both became impatient and the investors wanted the game released by the holidays and they got what they asked for...

@OmerFlame CDPR released a trailer for their game in 2013........ Fucking dumbasses
