Just a bit. The button in case was launching an entire workflow with branches. Real time for dev + testing was about 7 days, to catch all the corner cases.
However, I was working on another project headed by the same PM that had a very close deadline :-)

Also - the attitude of the PM towards twsting and refactoring was: "How many support tickets does that close?"

"If it doesn't break, don't fix it"
