I'm OK with C language, but I refuse to learn Shell. My co-workers who use shell don't talk to anyone and look like zombies. Hell no. I don't even know their names after working 2 months together. Fire me.

    Plus, you seriously don't know how to use the command line ?

    Guy that sits next to me at work uses bash scripts to automate stuff.

    I use python.

    So you'd rather rebuild the wheel (as a square of course) rather than learning how to get shit done in a way that others will also understand ...

    No doubt that it's probably very powerful, but I just prefer to use a higher level language for scripting. I haven't learned it, but I will if I have to.

    BTW, might want to give Fish a try, very friendly shell, similar to zsh.

    there's barely anything to learn in bash, just a buncha loops with inverted names as an ending, and a bit of variable passing, plus regex like operators, no reason not lo learn it
