Well I'm a hacker but not by choice. If I didn't have to use Windows for work I'd be a hippie.

If there was an alternative to Window that had solid GPU drive support and could run Windows programs I'de be all for switching, I've used Linux a bit can't find workarounds for the software I use most commonly.

Developers. Not enough money to buy a MBP...

@phoomparin could buy a MBP but use logic to realize you get better performance cheeper with almost anything else.

@nik123 Agree on Finder, disagree on Xcode. I'd rather have a 5GB update and very stable software than a malfunctioning, convoluted Android Studio for example. As far as I can tell the other issues are battery ( not OS related, not necessarily mac related ) and brew works 99% of the time for me. It's been a long time I haven't used Windows (last one was Win 7) but I have never had issues with any Mac or it's OS... What I do have an issue with is people on here and in general bashing Apple products without ever having used one. I hate that and I assumed you were one of those, but turns out I'm wrong. I don't say Apple is better than current Windows versions because I simply don't know. What I can say is that Apple products have never disappointed me, whereas Windows products have in the past.
