This job will eat me up.
I did not feel good last week due to my vaccine. I really don't know what happened what even after a week of it, I feel week and dizzy.

I couldn't work at all due to all this, and now the senior from my team is indirectly saying that this project is slow. I know it is slow because I couldn't work without getting 13 hours of sleep.

I am scared. I think I do not the element of good developer. I am trying my best though.
But whenever I get these kind of remarks I fail to do even the easiest thing possible.

    Any job where they can't handle that "human shit happens (health, family, whatever)" is not a good one.

    @N00bPancakes What is a good job? I love coding and I work on it. I try being consistent. I wonder if I join a start up will I get to work on my individual project and also opportunity to explore new things.
    I did some coding in my last project amd I could say that I was happy, I told my manager too and now I don't feel like it, new project started and I have to talk to other teams who sit in different timezone. I am not competitive so I might not be doing enough as compared to others but I did what I could do.

    @true-dev001

    I feel like a good job is where you communicate:

    "Hey yeah last week I didn't get as far as I wanted because I was sick."

    The response from an employer should be "Oh man I hope you feel batter."

    After that you shouldn't have to sweat it.

    A job where that doesn't happen isn't made for humans.

    My place gives 14 days of payed vacation for everyone that gets vaccinated. If they aren't grateful that you work at all then you have a bad employer. Tell them that you feel ill and if they still demand more from you than the only thing you can do is leave. Sorry changing an employer is not an easy task and flu/covid vaccines can have very strong side effects that you can't do anything about. Sorry.

    @N00bPancakes Thanks for saying this. This is right. I don't feel that kind of freedom here.
    Actually, I feel like a robot. Because no one shares their problems and even manager is not like that.

    @p100sch I am planning to change employer anyway as I do not have a chance of career growth here.
