Let's say, one of your female friends loves you. But she's too shy to tell you.
But now when her family is forcing her to get married, she explained her other female friend about you, how much she loves you and she's looking for you in each guy and so on. And somehow that female friend tells you what she told her about you, that she loves you but she knows that you wouldn't accept her feelings.
Now, what would you do?

    @rutee07 :/ very unexpected answer

    @rutee07 why stop there?
    Bang em both 😎

    This is simple math, either you like her, or you don't 🤷‍♂️

    I don't wanna bang any of them :/ not my type :/
    but I also don't want to hurt her feelings :/

    Are you living in Pakistan ?

    @rutee07 I like @C0D4's idea.

    Fuck marry kill.

    @killames no :/ how come?
  • 1
    @Xoka India maybe ?
  • 2
    @Xoka you remember why I’m asking
    Because I’m trying to think of cultures where forcing people to marry is still possible
  • 4
    @Floydimus And that's where a stable sort comes in handy.
  • 3
    @Xoka If the girl didn’t tell you anything and you don’t love her I don’t think you should do anything. You cannot change her family decision and anyway you don’t want to marry her, so the best way is pretending her friend didn’t tell you anything.

    [irony mode ON]
    Tell her you like men
    [irony mode OFF]

    This wouldn’t be a good idea in a place where forced marriage is still a thing.

    Actually not India either :/ @killames

    @Xoka just so we're clear, anywhere in the marked area is counted as India ok.

    yes I'm aware of the several nations that are covered in this but practically anything between Pakistan and Thailand counts, but not Sri Lanka.

    That's just how the western world views India and its surroundings.

    But back on topic: If your not into her, than that's all there is to it.

    So... In a nutshell.

    Person A confesses to B her feeling for C.
    Person B violates Person As trust by talking to C.

    Person C has no feelings for A.

    Does that sum it up?

    If yes... I as Person C would talk to Person A, then B.

    Not only is B not as trustful as A seems she is, which A should know... But A and C should sort their emotions out.

    Ripping off the band aid and being honest that there's no way of a relationship happening is best for A. Nothings worse than clinging to a false hope.

    All in all, sounds like Mexican Telenovela.

    @IntrusionCM Thanks for summing it up but what actually happened is:

    A & C are pretty close friends for the past 4-5 years. A has feelings for C but she never confessed. But A's family is pressuring her to get married and to go on blind dates but A rejects them without even seeing because A is looking for C in each guy.

    Now, B sees the struggles A is going through. So, she thought why not give it a shot and tell C that A loves C. So B tells C about A's feeling for him.

    But the thing is: A knows that C is not interested in her & also knows that if A confesses her feelings for C, C will not accept her feelings. & because A & C have been close friends, & if A's confession gets rejected by C, A will feel insulted and broken thus she's even more scared to express her feelings.

    @IntrusionCM You might ask, why can't C just accept A's feelings and give it a shot? Because A has never been C's type of girl.

    Now, even though C knows that A has feelings for him through B, when A & C meets, C has to pretend not knowing anything about her feelings. Which is hard for C because A & C are very close friends. And now C knows A is struggling secretly but not sure what to do for A.

    @Xoka have your explicitly told/rejected A.

    Maybe better to ask somewhere else like reddit though I'm sorta new there myself... but seems there are a few subreddit,. Just remember seeing this one. https://reddit.com/r/...

    @donuts so, somehow I kinda made it obvious that the person C is me :/

    anyways, No I havent told/rejected A.

    I just thought DevRant is the one of the best places where I can ask it & still be anonymous.
    but thanks for link. I might give it a try if needed.

    @Xoka I might've made the assumption but devRant may be a bit biased, limited audience.

    My thinking was based off animes/dramas where the guy can't decide between 2 girls and doesnt want to hurt their feelings...

    And usually I just go "c'mon just pick one already..."

    But also reddit has a much larger user base and sections specifically for this stuff. Seems there's like 5million members on this one.

    Don't think devRant total users come even close

    @donuts I agree.

    I'll give the sub reddit a try. Thanks
