Some say shooting yourself in the foot. What do you call a self-inflicting bug that costs you 3 work days in a team sprint?

    On the bright side: I'd call that a quickly caught and resolved issue - and it's neat that your org allows you take time to fix stuff immediately rather than ship bugs because the new features in the sprint are "too urgent to be delayed"

    3 days isn't too bad. People make mistakes. Got a guy in my team who's nearing the end of his second sprint on his own self-imposed bug. It's a nasty one.

    does it matter? all bugs are self inflicted, and there's always gonna be more work anyways, you might as well do that 🤷
