Classmate: You should use Bootstrap!
Me: Why?
Classmate: It's "the framework" that makes your site responsive.
Me: *a long moment of silence*
Me: *goes home*

Might be someone that does backend predominantly. Bootstrap is indeed a quick, cheap way to achieve front-end responsiveness.

    Whats wrong with Bootstrap??

Everybody is not a CSS pro. Bootstrap actually saves a lot of time for them.

Bootstrap makes things easy, therefore it makes things a bit more ugly than it would be if you handcrafted case-by-case. This especially applies to the bootstrap grid. Just my 2 cents...

Guys, sorry for the misunderstanding. What I'm trying to say is that there are folks who think that bootstrap is the machine that powers the responsiveness of the site, and not the media queries or so. Ugh. I can't explain. Sorry for my buggy English.

@loserboi yes media queries are there but still bootstrap does a lot better job in terms of time saving.
P.s I know the joke was totally on understanding of responsiveness no offence but I guess this rant was epic fail :p

Feel you bro. It's like listening to someone that actually believes in magic...
