What's your daily schedule as a developer?

Schedule as in when we dev or schedule as in life in general?

* 9-17 * * 1-5 work
beyond that, all bets are off

1. Sleep
2. Code

@true-dev001 crontab for every minute 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

8am - health checkup on prod environments, usually fine but some times things need a reboot or a kick up the ass.

8:30am - run semi automated jobs that need some guidance to ensure they run, bad data is never ending and these things are expected to automagically correct for it all by them selves.

8:45am - coffee break.

9am - let le meetings begin.

Somewhere around 12 and 2pm - lunch time

More meetings....

3pm - coffee break.

Somewhere around 4-6pm - Day over.

I know what your thinking, where's the actual dev work.
Well that falls into the cracks of time where I'm not preoccupied with the above schedule.

Rinse and repeat a bunch of times and it finally becomes Friday night 🥳

i don't choose the schedule, the schedule chooses me xD

1. wake up
2. go to work
3. fix abysmal code others "wrote"
4. go home
3. sleep

Start work at 8
Prepare cofe at 8.10
Drink cofe until 8.30
Go take a shit because of cofe until 9.00
Watch cat videos 9.00-10.13
Play games 10.14-12.00
Lunch 12.00-14.35
Meeting 14.35-15.00
Watch porn 15.01-15.03
Work 15.04-15.27
Log off, 15.28

- cook and eat and watch tv
- take a nap
- write code and watch tv
- take a nap

- write code and watch tv
- meetings
- take a nap
- play games
- eat, watch tv and write code
