And he says this is easy. Well, Fuck you. You don't know the nuances of making an brand new infrastructure these days. Security and usability are just two of the biggest hurdles. I hate it when people who dont know shit about something (not just CS, but in general) and just assume everything is easy. Doctors wouldn't be doing years of studies and training if medical sciences was easy. Pilots wouldn't be doing years of training just in simulators and small flights if flying a 747 was easy.

You mean coding isn't magic? Whenever I make a project I just eat the requirements document and about an hour later I shit out an EAR file. Then I push it up to ShitHub and Jenkins deploys it to my JBullshit server...BECAUSE THAT'S HOW DEVELOPMENT WORKS!

I had a family friend who wanted a single page web app to advertise their cars they had for sale...their budget was $200...but they were a family friend, so I figured what the hell. I already had a project started for something similar, so I just finished work on it and threw together a front end for it in Angular. Once I was done I showed it to them.

They wanted a ton of other features like a complex search system (for all 4 of the cars their shop had in stock at any given time). I told them I would need more than $200 for that. They got angry and said I was greedy.
