It doesnt make sense but i feel the same.
Computer has programs, software, applications
And phones have apps.

I know what the long Form of app is yes.

I know it doesn't make sense

But it feels right

well :P

computers have applications :P

but phones have 'apps' which is a lazier way of pronouncing applications, and are generally less feature rich :P usually being just a shell for a web page in essence :P
