    then again, if corp gave you 2 more horses instead of 2 more managers, the driver would be complaining "it's not like 9 women can deliver 1 baby in 1 month!!!!"

    @netikras I prefer the other adage,"it's not like nine babies can deliver one woman in nine months!"

    Now that I think about it, maybe nine babies COULD deliver one woman in nine months...I mean, we never tried it.

    Someone create a spike for that, let's timebox it to three months and see if we can deliver it in one.

    That was what my last job was like. I was the horse in front.

    @blindXfish Missed opportunity for a Primus joke right there

    @netikras Both solutions are wrong (for devs, not for horses maybey, what do i knows out horses). Only adding mgmt is useless, but only adding devs is not ideal as well. For every n devs you add you need +1 pm i'd say. The question is: what is n?

    @horus depends on character and intelligence of devs.

    Some just deserve to be fired till a good replacement is found

    @horus I am pretty sure, that N is bigger than ten. And for the horses: Yes, adding more does work just fine as long as the cart design supports the increased combined pulling force.

    Engineer's solution: Microservices. This should be solved with microservices.

    This time anyway

    @oktoloko My guess would be n = around 5.

    @kiki *star trek voice* structural integrity is failing....

    But the thought of someone driving in a wooden cart with an V8 engine is entertaining.
