I've just realized the very root cause of the frustration of devs everywhere!

It has everything to do with the manager's thought process:

Manager: HUR DUR, ME NO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING!!! MUST BE WRONG!!! ME CREATE BUG TICKET!!!

Dev: 🤦‍♂️ ...sigh...

That's why I appreciate GitHub's Discussion tab feature. I think it's on point on separating usage/roadmap discussion from development Issues.

    Or the opposite.

Devs, support, etc: something is fucky.

    Manager: everything is fine.

I had a very non-technical manager at last job.

Decent guy, good convos when people are still trickling into a call, but come time for standups, planning meetings postmortems or retros and we start getting into what needs to be done about…well our actual work?

    Whooooo boy.
