jdevs43068yJust WiFi, i created Facebook group of all peoples and put Repository access creds. and keys.
Trust me, I seriously believe that resources should be accessible for all.đ -
Pointer32498ySuddenly, each database, backup and server available on the intranet come down and there's no way back... If you know what you're doing, fine, otherwise, be careful who can get into your network

@apex thanks :) But I don't think he is a social engineer though. He has been working here for years

Bikonja23868y@silly-symphony and is he the type of person to (unknowingly) bring WannaCry into your network? (Not necessarily talking about this particular one, but anything like that)
Or hammer the network with torrents?
I generally agree with you, but like @apex said, you gotta be careful and the people that give out access SHOULD have taken all that into account and had a reason for not giving access so if the network is slow or infected you can't really blame them if you go behind their back. -
@Bikonja you are correct and I should be more cautious from now on :) I just felt sorry for the guy because of the way he is being treated (ordering coffee for the bosses, cleaning disgusting toilets, etc) The least I can do is let him browse Facebook or chat with his wife and kids. But yeah, I understand your points and thank you :)

41-64-6988yIt depends on the reason why you have WiFi in your company. Is it a benefit for the employees so they can use it on their phones in the breaks or is it required for your work? If the latter is the case: the cleaner can clean as well without WiFi.

CCTrollz7437yMy school has weak wifi security. So after finding the passwords, I may share with those that ask.

Pointer32497y@CCTrollz Advice, DON'T!
People can't be trusted, I've already have been in trouble for things like this two fucking times.
First, I got the password from a teacher's laptop, then gave it away and they forbidden my access to the computers.
Second time, I cracked the wep key from my High School and gave it away (again), one day I said loosely "Oh man, I wish there was no internet, that way I wouldn't do my networking test", minutes later, Network went off and guess who got blamed? Me!! Because they said "Oh geez, you hacked the network, you did it, we have no evidence but you did it"
Save yourself some troubles man, it's not worth it

I just helped one of our cleaners get Internet since the management whitelisted devices that can get WiFi access.
I believe that anyone, regardless of position, must have equal access to the resources in this company.
