Cobol devs are the real OGs

i heard of a uni that still teaches cobol lol. they pay well for legacy code maintenance, specially banks, but the job offers are as rare as the professionals

No joke - Back in 2007 I worked for a major telco in the US. I asked my manager who the two elderly men in the cafeteria were, as they’re seemingly playing cards all day. He replied, those are our mainframe guys. We keep them around in case something breaks.
