Nvidia. Why the fucking hell do I need to sign in to my Nvidia account to install drivers? I fucking hate your proprietary bullshit agenda!

    Wait, what? I didn't have to. I just installed recently too. Is this for that crap thing they try and bundle with it?

    Edit:

    Is it because of Geforce Experience?

    @Demolishun Yeah it's required on Windows, right?

    @ScriptCoded No, I won't and don't use Geforce Experience.

    @ScriptCoded Just did an install with a newly downloaded driver for one of my work laptops. It first asks me if I want driver with geforce xp or just the driver. I select just the driver. At no point has it asked me about logging into anything. The only thing it did is when I opened the NVidia Control Panel is it asked me to confirm to accept the license agreement.

    Is the driver you downloaded not giving you that option?

    @Demolishun Only found experience to work I guess 🙈 but good to know, will try your method when I can arse myself to

    Again a layer 8 issue

    Don't install Gefore Experience. It will also install latest drivers for you without confirmation. The problem with this is, the latest driver isn't always the best. I found out that the latest driver made my fan spin like crazy last time. Installed a previous version and it worked fine since.

    Well that is weird! I have used Nvidia drivers on Linux and that did not require me to sign up. I have now switched to all AMD though.
