svartblod462y@azuredivay haha no seriously, i dont earn that less you know as per indian standards, i earn 50k rupees per month in-hand, but there's always that other guy who earns a 100k per month and my in-laws keep talking abt them as if they are gods or something...
-
Your inlaws have shitty values.
U can adapt same logic with balding people vs people who have hair.
Or with short people vs people who are average or above.
Some people are just insecure about what they have so they always compare themselves with others. -
asgs112752yThe tendency to feel and be greedy is part of nature. Not just Money, you can extend this to anything we set our minds on - Fame, Luxury, Accuracy, Lust, Love, Hatred, etc. Nothing is enough in this existence
-
Resist the greed or you will never be happy with what you have at any time in life - no matter how much you actually have.
-
Someone is always going to have more than you, no matter what you do. It is the nature of life.
At a certain point, you have to be content with what you have. -
C0D4669022yNope.
I know what poor is.
I know what homeless is.
I know what having enough money to not end back up there is and it's comfortable.
Stop being a greedy fuck, and respect your money, the lack of it typically ends you, and a great amount of it makes you disrespect it. -
sariel84472y@svartblod You need to acknowledge that there are financial limits you are unable to overcome.
I would love to be making $500k a year. It's not realistic, and I honestly wouldn't ever be able to spend half of that.
The truth is, the rich get richer because you work harder to become like them. You will never, and I mean NEVER, be that rich. They want you to be unhappy, because unhappy people continue to buy. Unhappy people continue to struggle, and people who struggle work hard.
There's a hierarchy in this world that's in your face so much that you cannot see it, because you do not want to see it. Everybody on this platform, is in the very bottom of the deepest darkest hole of that hierarchy. You are less than worthless to them.
Do you honestly believe that your death would impact anybody outside of your direct circle?
I'm not trying to depress you, because of the truth is depressing. I'm trying to convey to you, that money is a poor substitute for happiness.
Find your happiness. -
svartblod462y@C0D4 its just that people in our society give more respect to people who earn that threshold of income for example 100k rupees per month...but i think i have to ignore all that and focus on my work, thats more important
-
C0D4669022y@svartblod I've managed people that were paid more than me, so I get it.
But find your happy spot on the pay grade ladder and everything else is irrelevant.
50k for one person may create a comfortable life, 100k for the same person could see them in mass debt.
Money is a blessing and a curse depending on how you use it. -
svartblod462y@C0D4 yea you are right, a person who earns more might feel an urge to spend more and because of that urge he/she might take more loans from banks and then later on might end up in large debt
-
I used to. I don't any more. Now I live and work with two goals: have a good time and make smth useful. Money is just a side benefit. As long as I get enough to live a decent life - I'm good

Do you ever feel like no matter how much money you earn it just.. doesn't seem enough because you see certain people around you who earn even more? Whenever i hear my in-laws say 'oh that guy earns this much, this guy earns this much', i feel kinda low...
