Waiting for the day when companies would pay good money to skilled people instead of people who got in because of some college or entrance exam. Fuck IIM

Ok so a guy came over to my house and started boasting how much salary his daughter and son-in-law is earning working as managers in some bank. When i told him that i am a software dev who works for almost 9-10 hours a day, he said his daughter just has 4, meetings in a day and thats it. Do you guys think its fair to pay someone so much who just have 3/4 meetings a day?

Wtf is ux researcher or design thinkers etc? Seems like bs jobs to me. Why not hire good frontend devs who has a good understanding of ux/ui?

Companies please pay devs well instead of wasting money on these bs roles and positions.

There was a time i disliked middle managers (because i thought they were useless and just making bank for sending emails and doing meetings) but then a couple of them took sick leave for a few days and then i realized how important they were. When they came back, i was almost crying with joy 🤣

Hey guys i need help, i want to switch to data field from react, i hv 2 yrs exp in react, should i go for data science? Can a frontend guy like me become a data scientist? And is the data science job fun when compared to react? Or should i go for power bi developer? I heard that power bi has a lot of scope as well. Thanks

Do you ever feel like no matter how much money you earn it just.. doesn't seem enough because you see certain people around you who earn even more? Whenever i hear my in-laws say 'oh that guy earns this much, this guy earns this much', i feel kinda low...

I really dont think the project manager who passed out from IIM recently deserves to be paid so much than us devs. I don't know why but I feel it's not fair to pay someone 3 times that of my salary for just sending emails and having some meetings..
