Fuck man.. very disappointed now.. 3 months ago i was told not to worry about funding and salary and all, now fucking still waiting for half salary.. fuck startup like this

Startups = not for salary.

Startups are for the risk in the long run. If you want a consistent and set in stone salary, do not work for a start up lol

I suggest you start looking for another job, that startup is going down and very deep.

Clearly @neophyte is working for a startup who assured him that there would be money in the bank, upon which I'm sure he signed the contract agreeing they would pay him the salary due to him... which I'm sure was also negotiated!

They fact that they don't have money in the bank is not @neophyte's problem... nor should it be! Rather the powers that be in control of the startup made the promise to pay the guys working for them, just like the guys working them made them a promise to do the work.

Bottom line... perhaps @neophyte should have been a bit more cautious, that I cannot say for sure. What I can say for sure is DON'T FUCK WITH THE MONEY!!!

Just leave the company bro, I know it's not easy finding a new job (at least in my country) but don't make the dept larger and then you will not be able to earn a $$$

Point is that @neophyte knew the risks and even tried to mitigate the risk of the whole startup phenomenon and the fact that there might not be any money, and he was in turn assured that it's not an issue.

Now, when he has bills to pay, he realizes that he's been lied to!
