eh...my windows 10 build is stable af. I'm actually very happy with it. I did go highend on the hardware and I made sure to neuter ads & tracking, going so far as to maintain a hosts file with thousand of entries

@Latsky I have used Windows(XP, 8,8.1, 10), macOS(Sierra) and Linux(Debian/Ubuntu and Arch Linux).
Both macOS and linux(all distros) are way more stable than windows, they do not spam you with there fucking own software(EDGE), or reset them on a update.
They do not send everything you do to the cloud, or make a version of there os where you can only use the build in store(Windows 10 S)

Sometimes i get amazed hoe shitty win10 is for some people: ads, crashes, updates. Never saw one ad, crashes for me are caused by the slow ring, and updates never are a problem either. I love win10

@Liz3 last time I check apple gives you Safari. That was 6 years ago but I think they still add a browser to your OS.

@Liz3 the reason why MacOS and linux is that stable?
MacOS only runs on specific hardware.
Linux users are technical people who open issues, and send data for fixing.
Microsoft doesnt have this luxury. When they do want to get more data people block it. Buy you can see that the data makes everything more stable. Windows defender is pretty good nowadays, its not as instable as XP, Vista and 7 anymore.

The MS surface products work like a charm and have as much crashes as a Mac, just because of the hardware could be tested fully.

Its not windows that causes crashes its the hardware, drivers in combination with windows.

@Codex404 I am a mac user and windows, I personally didn't had lot of trouble with win 10 and your argument are correct. And I want to add that when you install windows on mac hardware most of the time it will run just as stable as mac. Most machines where windows runs on is based on low to medium quality hardware. Or mix of high,low and medium. Just because the on part you didn't think was important Enough to spent a lot of money on. The complete stability of the system is effected. That what makes apple hardware and software stable.
