because someone should develop a ghost process zoom runs in background on macos if you install their app, doing god knows what. also, someone should make an arrangement with chinese govt to route ALL zoom traffic through china.

Don't know why so popular. It needed an app ffs. Meet.google.com was create URL, share whatever way you want, no account needed and desktop sharing

90% of webrtc apps/services/platforms/whatever use jitsi.

Most don't even know how to do anything else other than "just run it".

@retoor you can use it without self-hosting it — it's p2p anyway. Jitsi meeting is just a link — you send it, they join it. No need for an app or something.
