Hmmm... good question.
I would say where I have a stable envronment, beautiful nature for recreation, friendly people and strong innovation.
I like it where I am. 😉 -
Linux434837y@BlueNutterfly
Georgia is another country I would like to visit. The Svaneti Towers have my interest -
@Linux To be quite honest, I've never visited them. Always wanted to, but my parents just don't like the idea of me going anywhere alone, with them things just aren't fun...
-
I know this is a bad way to look at it...but where the money is at. I do not want to be super happy doing what I do surrounded by beautiful nature and people while at the same time getting paid like if what I did was meh.
-
github95487yThanks for tagging.
I have personally never had a deep thoughts towards it.
Most probably, Silicon Valley considering the high amount of competition and money. Technical growth will be maximum if we can sustain there for a while.
Another place would be Switzerland.
The best one will be remote work location. I can be anywhere in the world that has internet connection and every quarter, works from a new country. -
@Linux well they do have a strict ethic system, it's just that for some time it applied only for the Japanese and it favours xenophobia.
@jalebiBhai good luck with japan's work ethic though. -
I'd love to work in Iceland. Don't know shit about the language though.
Other candidates are California, France and Australia. -
To be honest I was never in those that I'm going to list, but I'd wish I live, and work in either:
1. Sweden
2. Finland
3. Netherlands
4 Denmark
Not ordered by priority but I just find their people to be calm, easy going, doubt they know what "hate" mean ...etc you get my point.
No offence to others but when I hear either of those countries I think of Innocent humans lol -
kosio-t23917yGood, smart and calm people, a very high salary, innovation, very clean air in the big cities, roads are all new and people are great drivers and of course great educational system for the children.
That’s where I live...
P.S: Better sit because the sarcasm may hit you too hard. -
@BlueNutterfly I am interested in georgia too. Estonia seemed to be a better competitor though in terms of technological market@BlueNutterfly
-
@linuxxx you seem to have a thing with privacy or its just a word that come out of you in every statement of yours :p
-
@jalebiBhai I've got a thing with it haha. But everyone should care about it really.
Nah they're coming up with a new mass surveillance law which is very bad :/ -
I really love vienna (I currently live here) or any other city that is *similar* to it's architectural mix of old and new buildings - Amsterdam, bruxelles, munich would be on that list as well. On the other hand I would also somehow like to work in a city like New York or somewhere in the silicon valley.
-
vertti4537y@gitpush you're right we're innocent chill people (I'm Finnish). I'm pretty sure this applies to all Nordic people roughly equally. I really wish we'd get more immigrants like yourself and other developers but very few people in their right minds immigrate here.
You should know that these countries are damn cold most of the time though. If that doesn't turn you off then you're crazy 😅 -
Shodan4987yA relatively developed country with decent quality of life, low cost of living, working remotely at a high cost of living's country's wages, doing interesting things.
In other words, in Daydreamistan. -
@vertti hahaha thats the problem cold days all the time (or most of it)
and nice to meet a fellow Finnish dev :D
P.S. Finland entered my list after watching couple of videos for Stratovarius and seeing how wonderful the country is :p -
Where I can enjoy the work, there is peace, beautiful and clean environment, a metropolitan city isn’t a problem as long as it’s properly organized and clean, not much noise, for example - of cars honking, ( so I can listen to my metal songs 😂 ) and most of all, where people r good to talk to, and respect each other...
One more thing.... where I don’t have to pay fortunes to buy electronic gadgets, including but not limited to mobiles n computers, thanks to taxes and imports or something or the currency being super down... well that’s all -
@umanium IT might be rising, but a lot of other things and countries aren't. Vibrant tech sector here in SA and amenities suitable for "first world" people. Just everything else is falling apart.
-
@Electrux for clean city you have make your contribution by not driving Gas car
-
@jalebiBhai VR zones are right now a growing thing here, we do have innovations and working remotely IS an option.
-
@Ranth67 oh ya I forgot Japan lol
@jalebiBhai nope I'm currently in Lebanon never been never been outside middle East 😅 -
@BlueNutterfly heres what I am thinking. Georgia looks cheaper than my country. I will register my company there and operate project from there only. Hire employee there, and save big fuckin"" money
-
@jalebiBhai as of now it ain’t under my jurisdiction so I get no say in that matter... but when m earning my keep, I’ll remember that 😊🤗
-
@jalebiBhai I don't know how that would work... Starting a business is legendarily easy(supposedly), here. Maintaining it is where things get really tricky.

@Electrux मेरा तोह बस एक ही उसूल है। कार अगर लेंगे, तोह टेस्ला की ही होनी चाहिए।
