I guess past month you spent 0,01$?

@cafecortado in october total bill was 0.76$

t2.micro is within free tier. NAT isn't. Adding a paying service to a bill mostly composed of free stuff will result in a ridiculous increase even if the overall amount is cheap.
    So no, no worries.

@Commodore i know. But im using rds here. Only got 2 options when creating rds.

    db.t3.micro
    db.t4g.micro

tip: just host your own server instead of giving control over everything to a greedy corporation.

@tosensei i wish. But the only reason i have to use aws is to learn it so i can get a fucking devops job. I hate it for the sole reason of their greediness and deception of "12 months FREE tier" which turns out its not really FREE

@b2plane it's AWS, what did you expect?

also: did you ever consider getting a different job instead of aspiring to work with something you hate?

@tosensei nobody here hires backend engineers. All of those positions seem to be oversatured or low pay. I have to move to devops engineering positions cause those are now in higher demand than regular backend or anything else besides ai positions

@tosensei if he's going into ops he better develop some seniority in hating the craft

@b2plane hey man, advice (from a DevOps dude) just put some years of experience bla bla in your CV, during interviews say you're the best in the field, then figure it out and try not to break production, if you do, well, shit happens

at least for me, that worked flawlessly
