Perfect job is when sandbox and production api endpoints works the same.

Fuck all api endpoints where their sandbox works differently than the production.

Fuck all those error messages that appear only in production, despite faithfully following the documentations.

Fuck the gateways where their sandbox is more stable than the production.

Fuck the endpoints whose api parameters differ in what they accept between sandbox and production.

Fuck those manuals that does not document these diferrences.

Fuck those developers and support team who don't know how to support integrators. They don't even know how their apis work!

We're increasingly becoming installers/configurers/integrators/troubleshooters, than "programmers"!

I guess command-line is the only thing that makes me feel like things are still under *my* control. And, I can type whatever I want and unleash heaven/hell. 😜

Spent 2 days on a client's site to do an install of our equipment on a huge project. Pretty rare for our company to install themselves.

And holy shit, I'm so glad this isn't my everyday work

I am traumatized a bit by seeing so many web applications being "hacked" together by WP integrators.

We see a lot of shit applications when companies knock on our door to have a look at their "sick" systems built on shit like that.

Usually when we feel sorry for the company we stage it up. If freak WP applications had a proper debug log, the first line would read: [WARNING] Put me out of my misery. 😵

Worst of all is that usually we could've built the webapp for half the price the customer spent originally with a proper framework and architecture.

Let me create the Drupal train.

Fuck Drupal, its verbose shit, how it's supposed to inherit from Symfony, how it's not (at all), how it needs to create a WHOLE FUCKING TABLE FOR EVERY SINGLE TEXT INPUT, how it's required to write TWO LONG ASS PHP lines of code to display ONE FUCKING IMAGE.

Fuck these millions of hooks that allows you to do "incredible stuff" that you could normally do without Drupal.

Fuck how templates are generated, you wouldn't believe how bad it is, and how web integrators are loosing their mind to try to correctly display datas that are contained

Finally, the people who wants some "modern stuff" and make the tests even harder to write and the site uglier.

I just can't believe that recruiters still want to hire people for some Drupal shit.
