Wow, great rant. Care to elaborate?
-
I'd recommend Ruby. According to my experience, better Dev experience than Python, why:
More concise, lambda expressions, better interface to OS... -
@nicholai on desktop only. It's amazing how users tend to see computer world only by desktop usage.
Well, Linux is dominant in every other domains of computer industry: embedded, super-computing, servers, mobile, cloud, clusters, MtoM, etc. -
Well then, care to elaborate on the problems you think Linux has?
-
Well , this is technically 22 linux commands in a single conditional shell statement....
You fool no one, young one:-) -
It is called every day work in a company!
And looking at my aprentices I think you're not even that close... -

It depends on the technology of the battery: NIMH, NICD, LIPO...

I agree. Very hard to focus. With open-spaces engineer productivity has seriously decreased..
-
Move to VisualStudio Code.

Does ot happened to you that algorithm and using a computer are 2 separate things?
He may be an excellent teacher and doesn't know about computers. -
A container is a prison for process!
They all run on the same os, they all have a part of the os resources but they cannot communicate or see each other (exept through the supervisor, which in this analogy is Docker) -
@Cyanite it happens sometime that as ram chips on the dimm module get old the tolerance on the clock and other signals generated by the motherboard tighten. Some memory modules may stop to work after several years of good service. In that case you can revive them by lowering the speed in the bios.
It also happens to people having modified their memory timings in the bios to gain performance. -
Keepass is the way to go
-
An utter peace of shit...
-
Or use Keepass Password safe. Open Source and secure.
-
Running a container inside a VM is more usual.
-
Bad ram chips or timings too tight... Dis you change the timings in the bios?
-
Booting your USB key has nothing to do with booting your future OS... Don't mix the two...
And then there is some utilities that make UEFI bootable USB keys allowing you to Boot in Uefi mode. -
Getting a good chair.
