Hey guys! I was working as a programmer for 3 years now, but I don’t have any diplomas or anything to prove that I can code. However I soon want to relocate from my country, and I was thinking about this: Is it a problem that I don’t have a diploma, or just the acual work experience would be enough for me to get a job abroad?
How is it in your country?4 -
Actually not a rant, I just want to share my happiness with you guys. Finally I broke out of a startup, and got accepted to an international big company. Cannot wait for the things I’ll learn there, it’s so exciting! (Yep, this is a very big milestone for me as an autodidact programmer.)
Any advice you can give to me? What was your biggest achievement so far in your carreer?6 -
Have you ever been in that situation where you really wanted to start a pet project, but you didn’t have the energy to do it after work, but in the same time you didn’t want to work on your project you have been assigned to at your job, so you slacked all day because you didn’t have the guts to work on your pet project at your job? I’m pathetic.3

Seriously. Is there ANY way to work with my colleagues on the same xcode project, or is it fucked, and have to manually copy-paste storyboards, and .swift files? I found that it’s the easiest way so far. Any recommendations?6

Anyone else gets PTSD from estimating time expenses on projects you know nothing about, no basic design, specification, or anything besides “this page of the app is called the request handler, it handles requests by other users.” Oh really? Like what kind of requests? What can they request? Who can approve those requests? Etc... Is this normal, or am I just at an unprofessional company with fully incompetent PMs?12

CEO tells us to delete every Trello boards, and make a big smoking dump of shit of a Trello board out of them, by adding every project for every plaform there, because he is a control freak, and he NEEDS to see every project all in one, because he’s “tired” of switching between boards if he wants to see the completion of a project. Like duh, this is the job of our 2 PM’s, but whatever you dumb fuck. Chaos is coming.....i’m done4
