I frckin HATE people who say 'Ah, you can program now? So can you make a game for me? I even have some ideas!, bla bla blurb...'
It makes me wanna hurt them. And the really, really sad thing about it is: nearly no one understands why.4 -
My boss has a weird habit of asking my opinion and then proceed to choose the worst option. So one day he asked what Java for Web framework we should use I said we should use Spring, we are currently using JSF. Then he asked what version control we should use I said git. Guess what, he decided to use SVN. Next time I'm going to say the worst option maybe that will make him choose the better one.2

Fucking gnu gettext, fucking .po and .mo files and fuck the fucking poedit. Why in the fucking hell a damn i18n solution used by so many languages doesn't support correctly fucking utf 8 characters in strings inside the code, I mean, WHAT THE FUCK, this is my second day trying to make the fucking Python gettext module to translate the fucking word "está" because I've a fucking big code base programming in Spanish that need to be translated. This is the fucking 2016 and we still have problems with fucking special characters? I mean CMMON1

it kinda pisses me off that server side languages don't get the same credit as they used to since single page applications started and everyone asks what front end i use.
i be like dude i use php. then he says oh so you use jQuery for front end.
*facepalm*1 -
At this point it's pretty much a matter of time before the English language runs out of words and JS framework developers resort to random strings for naming them.3
