Just a friendly heads up that you can find plugins for any browser that'll give any web page a dark theme!

I had the privilege of showing my non dev roommate the beauty that is dark themes.

This was my first real programming bible. I remember reading it chapter after chapter in the car on long car trips as a youngster and being so excited about the stuff I was learning I would explain it to my mom in the front seat as I was learning it. I'm sure she didn't understand a word of it.

Funny thing is I still do that today, 25 years later. And I'm sure she still understands not a word!

So, what was the book that really got you into programming?

What is your editor/coding environment fashion setup?

Here is mine and I am very proud of it:

Termite terminal + dvtm (like tmux) + Nano with semi-custom syntax files.

Left language is C, right top C2 (c2lang.org), right bottom my build-system

Valentines day, other people buy flowers. I buy bread instead.

I've been buying a giant loaf of sour dough bread for years and my wife is just as happy.
