State machines? Anyone?

1. Follow creators you know have good content.
2. Stop using the "For You" tab and switch to Following. -
@netikras err... I had to lookup what a PHEV is, so I figured out we're not talking about the same thing. Anyway...
-
@MammaNeedHummus peeked into the comments just to see if anyone has mentioned it...it's amazing
-
@Oktokolo I'm afraid I'm too broke to afford JetBrains
-
@Alice err...laziness
-
So what do you guys think about g in GIF?
-
@coldfire easier said than done. I knew this day would come but wasn't expecting it so early. I'm not mentally prepared for a switch yet. It's exhausting. And the current job market looks bleak. But yeah, I'll probably start looking elsewhere pretty soon.
-
@cho-uc yeah I'm too thinking about the long commute, but it's a 4 to 5 hour drive one way, so not sure if it'll get tiresome after a while. Do you also do this? Also wondering what days work best in such a scenario - just before weekend, just after weekend, midweek? Damn it's complicated.
-
I just started learning Golang, btw.
-
Laravel is the only reason I'd ever use PHP voluntarily
-
@Fast-Nop oh damn. Didn't realize someone has already posted. Hilarious nonetheless
-
So now we have slipboard and clioboard.. What are these new technologies that I haven't seen or used yet. I'm getting too old for this shit
-
@cafecortado It gets annoying when you have to replace something with the stuff you copied... so instead of hitting Ctrl+V you hit Ctr+C, so now you have to go back and copy the stuff again, and then back to pasting.
Also reminds me of "A joke is like a frog. If you have to explain it, you have to kill it.." -
@NoToJavaScript Why not just use different entity configuration classes rather than dumping everything in OnModelCreating?
-
@vintprox not exactly a node_modules issue, the download zip doesn't have it. The GBs are because they bundle a boilerplate/skeleton app for many popular frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, ASP.Net Core, Laravel etc (around 8 to 9 of those) and last but not least an HTML version as well. And it also has a lot of static assets for those skeleton apps.
-
Also, "En Vee Ron Ment" for environment
-
@Sid2006 of course not :P
-
@Oktokolo not quite there yet.. lot of things still lacking( syntax highlighting, macros, keeping files even after closing). But I don't expect it do all that. Some things feel good with minimal features
-
@waff haven't tried it yet but I think it'll be the same story
-
I have mixed feelings about such design tools as a dev.. I can whip out decent poc screens with actual coding + hot reload much faster than if I were using figma to create mockups.

@Oktokolo

@kamen @joewilliams007

@netikras now that I think about it... it's actually a runtime error...so can't really blame the compiler :D . In my defense, it was late at work, I just needed a break
-
@red-knot sorry too poor for this shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
@electrineer :D if I was the pilot, this would have been on pilotRant. Now I'm just sitting here wondering what the posts on pilotRant would look like.

@adhdeveloper I'd love to but primarily being a .NET dev isn't helping much :(. Agreed that .NET core is now cross platform, but from what I hear, the DX is not at par with what Windows has to offer. I might be wrong, but I haven't really dug into it.
-
It's true. The grass is always greener on the other side.
-
@electrineer I'd be damned if I did
