@retoor isn't spankbang a pro studio?
-
@IHateFrameworks how is PHP related to a protocol?
-
@retoor yes
-
Downvoted probably
-
@retoor yeah, since the "purge" it became so sterile and boring
-
@kiki i'm good with my loss of meaning and ambition, thank you
-
The fuck are you smoking?
-
As far as I understand, yes
-
@antigermgerm except no one really engages with all of this except for some old users
-
@netikras yes, if they are just foreground applications that's what should happen. but it should be possible to make a background service that keeps the device active by design.
i haven't been looking into details, but have seen some implementations of a server on a phone some time ago. maybe it was easier to perform with older phones which were more easily exploitable -
@netikras wasn't it already available before with busybox tools and some tinkering?
-
@antigermgerm actually stumbled upon the existence of transports(xmpp) and bridges(matrix) which do exactly what we've talked about: connecting several messaging networks with duplex message forwarding
-
@tosensei well, tinfoil is largely called that as a legacy. foil nowadays is aluminum based, not tin based anymore.
should be renamed to alumfoil or whatever /s -
@tosensei largely depends on the source of the EM field. if it's very directional then even a flat shield would work, but in a general omnidirectional case a less than full enclosure would not block effectively
-
@possum some europian countries have higher rates than japan. europe isn't really known for being collectivistic
-
You have given your consent by going to japan and applying to a job there.
-
humans are cunts in majority, so that is okay
-
@tosensei there was a research that tinfoil hats actually work as amplifiers because they are only half covering and work as a resonator amplifiying the waves inside the head
Faraday cage must cover fully from all sides, otherwise it doe snot shield anything. Also Faraday cage only covers from waves that are of longer length than the cell size. A chicken mesh cage will cover from radar waves, for example, but not microwaves -
@D-4got10-01 had some nice flavorful hot pepper flavored potato chips... Discontinued. All other hot pepper chips are not flavorful but just hot. Just why?
-
@jestdotty robusta has some environmental implications. As far as I remember, it is overgrown because of demand and that depletes the soil rather fast.
And also robusta nowadays is treated as inferior coffee so many brands switch from it. -
Arabica makes you get your ass from a chair more often 😂
-
@Demolishun lol
-
@jestdotty okay... Why is there so much porn then?
-
@Demolishun what is that site?
-
@Grumm btw, isn't Figma a UI design tool? how is it even suitable for any sort of reports?
-
I can see xmpp and matrix being somewhat easy to connect as they have very common operation modes and the login could be literally identical (user@server), but IRC is probably less compatible to both. though i am much less familiar with IRC overall
-
@antigermgerm fair, but the issue of interconnection is still there, unless you develop and host some sort of hybrid server which operates matrix, xmpp and irc protocols in a common interconnected pool (with one tri-mirrored account for every user)
-
@Grumm trello? you probably don't need much more than a kanban-like board for one developer
-
@netikras you can use any xmpp client to join whether web based or separate
-
@antigermgerm i've seen some implementation of a mirror bot between discord/telegram and matrix, but it was not very convenient as it was always posting from the bot's account/name (+original author tag) whenever anyone wrote something
