"Mongoloid" was not originally a word used to describe people with Down syndrome. It's a deprecated scientifically racist term brought by white scientists to describe Asian people and justify the idea of of a white superiority against other races. It was later associated to down syndrome because a lot of people who have it have slanted eyes.
As for Mongolians, they're named Mongolians, not "mongoloids". -
Burned out because of overwork and shit pay. It turned into a full blown depression and I failed most of my classes during that term.

Rule of thumb is to always use serif fonts for blocks of text and sans-serif for titles or captions.

@madburger all I'm saying is that they'd have less occasions to bitch about it if the codee was autoformatted on its way to your CI. It would also be a great occasion to sneakily add merge blocking Belle a certain coverage threshold

Time to add code styling tools to your development kit!
I'm thinking about code sniffer, Java checkstyle and jslint and others for other languages -
Most services that provide 2fa, like Google authentication, also have single use static codes that you can use if you loose your phone, run out of batteries or otherwise loose access to it. They also have support teams that can reset your account's security settings if you call/email them.
It's not a single point of failure because, even if your phone is compromised, people need your actual password to still access your data. It's in the concept that 2fa finds its strength. -
Are you sure, you were not taking about Yahoo answers or Quora?

Nevermind, I forgot which way RM traverses hierarchies

So long as they don't run as root, they should be fine.

Docker. As a web dev, it's a life saver
-
It's also really not that hard to make a form accessible.

@paulwillyjean urgh. I meant svn

Clearly a sun veteran

@cyberwalk3r the easiest way I can describe it is as a virtual machine, but much lighter and much more flexible. It gives you a development stack that you can discard and reload at will, then use as is on production with a very minimal impact on performance.

Why do devs have access to db on prod?
Sys admins should be the only ones with those privileges -

Start to reply to recruiter offers, even if you don't plan to follow through, update your linked in and use your current boss/manager as reference. Watch them run to their desk to give you a counter offer.

@Crazed if you want to integrate it with gulp, node-sass is feature compatible with plain old sass (and much faster). Compass integration will fail though since it hasn't been ported just yet.

I found sass/scss and it's associated compass library, and BEM/component based styling to be really great at spicing up CSS development.
-
@CWins I would definitely do the same

The smell of cigarette smoke spreads and lingers for quite some time. So I perfectly understand why they'd be mad to be honest.

You ought to be French

@mortanius words can mean more than one thing.
In Canadian telephony, among other things, it's called a pound. -
Pound

Cause they need to know how much they're gonna quote the client or budget the software development

You still won't be able to read anything they send over https.

Because engineer is a reserved title in some place and wrongfully claiming it could earn you a lawsuit

I have a hard time figuring out how you could have conceptualized and coded a functioning POS in just a day

I used to have it so bad! Is always fall asleep right after eating. I only learned to manage it when I stopped eating meat. Digesting it takes sooo much energy!
