@Teabagging4Life maybe, but I bet in this case it's just windows lying to me
-
@7root it's meant to be pseudocode
-
And there is even more to it.
I told my boss that the code was shit because it was done by someone who never wrote a program before.
This happened 1 year before @droegelor took over. At this time it already was 'nearly finished'...
I called @droegelor and asked if he's interested in this job. I thought it was about writing a new application.
Little did I know...
But, whatever. I don't have to deal with this shit. -
You could maybe also create Firewall rules using your calendar dates which block and unblock svhost.exe
-
@skyyydeveloper you could basically install it on any distro you like. On some distros it's harder to do so because of dependencies and shit.
But look, there's even an entry for deepin on archwiki
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.ph... -
@skyyydeveloper you can use the deepin UI with arch
-
And guess what. After reaching 100% it tells me to wait another couple of minutes.
Fuck this -
Just stick with arch. You only have to set it up once. Unless you fuck up...
Wait a minute... Let me rethink that.
No, seriously. I use it and I love it -
He was there when the company was founded. Later on he bought 10% shares.
In the beginning there was no one else doing the programming and no one knew that he's not the right one for the job.
But now it's getting painfully obvious that he can't code shit. -
@CurseMeSlowly I disagreed with him.
I mean, I strongly disagreed with him.
He has a lots of problems with me. We have enough stories about him and I don't want to give it all away.
Since I don't have to deal with him (anymore) I'll leave the storytelling to @droegelor.
I'm more in hate with VisualStudio and other Microsoft crap -
He wouldn't even talk to me anymore...
-
Since @droegelor and I are colleagues, I can confirm the whole story.
This guys code ssssssucks big hairy sweaty monkey balls.
Happy to work for that company... -
@AlgoRythm yes, I get that.
The problem is, that both sides show the same configuration. 64bit and Debug. But the output path in the project file is ignored by Visual Studio.
It should be /bin/x64/Debug but it shows /bin/Debug.
After restarting Windows (not VS) it shows the correct path again. -
@AlgoRythm It's the output path. Visual Studio says /bin/Debug.
Project file says /bin/x64/Debug. -
I feel you...
-
Alice and filthyranter are right...
This only happens on beta versions.
But it took me quite a while to find out myself. Virtually every app that I found in the store wants me to participate, not to install.
But I wont hold this against the developers of these apps.
I guess they think no UWP app should be further than beta state.
