I've been working on an ERP system for several years and we had a module to record your presence time.
The code was absolute shit but at least the method names matched.
The method to record the end of your work was named "outhouseRecord".
One translation for outhouse seems to be a toilet outside.

Holding the power button to shut down your computer feels like you're choking someone to death.

Be error free

It took me 30 minutes (and 40 crashes in production) to fix it...

FML...

You know you're backend when it took you 30 minutes to program the inner workings of the platform... and 4 days to make it look pretty.
