I needed a new lappy, as my xps 13 started strobing again. And I need a lot of ram, good batt, low profile and not burning through my wallet. Xps failed on the last criterion, others failed at the first ones. I came across Skikk, a vendor I've never heard of before, offering customizable, powerful and cheaper laptops than competitors do. So I bit a bullet, assembled the beefiest Green 5 model [I got the last one] and got it yesterday.

Booooy does it feel snappy!!!

Sure, the keyboard and assembly overall are far from dell's, but for that price I'm more than happy to let it slide :) esp when it's quite decent

@fruitfcker fwiw, skikk support said that this summer they'll be selling a very similar Green6 model, with a newer cpu [14th gen]. You'll have your chance to upgrade to mutant-ninja-lappy too! :)
