And after taking another call he reprimanded me for something someone else wrote. After putting some energy behind saying that he should leave me alone he put me in the spotlight as being the choleric one. Are you fucking kidding me? How did I notice it just now that they’re batshit insane?

@kiki Exactly. One of which being that vacation once approved, can only be cancelled upon the employees approval. Very obviously wasn’t aware of that.

Secondly, he bombarded me with calls and expected me to pick up. Something I am not obliged to during vacation days.

Thirdly, he accused me of me refusing to do my duty, which is again not possible when I’m on vacation. So many redflags just got waved there

I am thinking seriously about making the website where we list all of this shit companies with concrete problems listed with the timestamp so we know that this company is shitty since 2017, so you can take a look at the list when trying to get a new job in order to dodge the bullets

I know that some companies can get better after some reflections and realisations but when your boss/director/owner is a fucking psycho it is very unlikely to change!

If it changes we can add that company not so shitty anymore since 2023 when boss left the company! Or whatever happened.

This what you go through my friend is called mobbing.

Also we can make hr and bosses reach out and talk to us about their score. I would let this go for a year or two and then i would publish all the shitty hr and bosses who tried to remove or pay to remove bad reviews about their company! Adding some value back to the devs!

The reason why I would wait for such a long time is to provide facade that is safe to complain and then i would hit them all with the shovel in the face!

Sorry on the long rants, I just feel with the OP and I am pissed off because of the treatment he gets!

Resign mate.. Find a better place. I've been in situations like this and unfortunately let them do stuff like that to me for way too long. Even after leaving it took me years to mentally recover from that place. Its not worth it, believe me..
