    I know someone who was a floor manager and not floor as in department, but literally responsible for keeping the floor clean at Mc Donald's. She told everyone she's a manager and then she got fired and kept soliciting to manager positions and... GOT ONE! Her name was Merel and we called her MacMerel

    pretty sure cooking counts as a lost art now

    @retoor damn think that was my lead dev

    she wasn't actually the lead dev she just kept claiming to be the lead dev everywhere and made us all treat her that way

    funnily enough for some reason marketing people think you need someone that's a "go-getter" like that to promote them to a position

    @jestdotty ha, a "go-getter". I'm many times the "go-getter" in many eyes I think but there always comes one even go-getterier than you that sells unrealistic stuff to the boss. That's fine, but not if they can get away with it

    @retoor I don't know I'm too passive

    if I get annoyed though I'll dominatrix this bitch. still hasn't happened. probably should.

    @TeachMeCode you're not the only one. One of the smartest people here works at burger king too

    @jestdotty sounds hot. But my competition were never girls.

    Edit: ah, guy can be a bitch too ofcourse. It's a double swear

    @retoor oh, I meant disposition

    just people suck at leading or making decisions and whine too much

    but if I'm in charge I can't like be half in charge. I'll make 'em eat shit lol

    so I became passive to get along with people ages ago and let them have their space

    lost a friend once because we ended up in a group project and I got annoyed nobody was doing anything annnnd...

    @jestdotty I'm watching full gpt tutorial for data analysts of four hours! Whaha, if this is all they do, they'll lose their job for sure 😂

    @retoor I don't know what that is but wah wah wah I want a projector

    hmmm in general in my experience of knowing AI people they don't do much, yes. it's all very confusing. they just make things up and see what sticks. and none of what they do is consistent which is annoying

    @jestdotty I'm so ho high on speed. I gonna watch the full 3:35:00. No centration issues here! I already did one hour with two fingers in the nose because three doesn't fit and one gets lonely

    @jestdotty What they do at McDonald's isn't cooking. It's babysitting machines that do the cooking. The closest you get to cooking there is putting salt on the fries. I know because that was my first job.

    @cuddlyogre idk what you think cooking is

    it's mostly babysitting machines that cook things for you

    I know cuz I keep coding while cooking lmao and sometimes burn things...

    @jestdotty When I cook there's fire and timing and ingredients and temperature. The only thing a mixing gives me in all that is the fire and maybe the exact timing. Everything else is my doing.

    @jestdotty cooking is very interactive for me. Eggs, bacon, egg & bacon samich. My wife uses pressure cooker and just cooks stuff all day. Make meat really tender. You can take a tough chicken meat and make it so nice and tender if you run it through pressure cooker 2 or 3 times.

    @Demolishun now I'm hungry as F for meat. Dammit. It's 6:28 here
