What. The. Fuck. Did. Just. Happen.

A random girl followed me on social media. She looked nice and intelligent so I followed her back.

Started to chat about some random stuff. She told me she works at the HR department of an international company and asked me what's my job. Told her I'm a software developer.

Right after that she sent me a selfie. Obviously I said she looks nice, she thanked it and asked some more about my job. After a short discussion I received another selfie but somewhere in between she lost the outer layer of her clothing.

She still looks nice but now I'm sitting here utterly confused and cant tell whether it was my sarcastic humour and moderately handsome facial features which charmed her or she just needs to recruit someone for a new project and willing to do everything to reach the quota.

    Dude. Wooooow.

    You are not a robot, but she might be. Time for a test?
  • 33
    @7400 well played πŸ˜‚
  • 38
    Seriously though. This seems fishy.
  • 12
    What a world we live in :o
  • 22
    Sounds like true love. setup a meet.
  • 6
    @potluck
    Same thought.
  • 7
    It's a bot. πŸ€–
  • 5
    What did u do
  • 7
    I wanna hear more!
  • 6
    Block the scammy bitch fuck. do it now.
  • 20
    Search her photos on Google. Just in case it is fake profile or not. Still, this will not be accurate.
  • 18
    If she starts sending such messages to strangers she met online and never in person, she is probably searching for attention.
    Try finding out what she wants and maybe start trolling her if it gets more suspicious.
    If you feel annoyed by her and she doesn't stop, you can teach her a lesson and publish the photos online. If she uploads them to the internet, there's nothing she can do. Her fault.

    Or just marry her.

    Screenshots or it didn't happen

    @IAmNotARobot but she is. 😏

    @CoffeeNcode same
  • 10
    Or it's your CISO doing really cruel phishing audits
  • 20
    Ask her to solve a captcha
  • 8
    Update is demanded !!! Grrrr
  • 2
    If you have to ask you can't afford it
  • 10
    Seems fishy... However, it's a refreshing approach! Way better than LinkedIn fishing...

    I wonder how would she close... "Sign the contract and we can be together!"
  • 7
    At least show us one of the two photos. πŸ˜”
  • 7
    @mmcorreia I think you meant, "Seems phishy..."
  • 10
    @LicensedCrime as in he's failed the test if he thinks there's going to be any penetration
  • 5
    Keep us posted
  • 3
    @7400 right on point!
  • 18
    Update: she is a real girl and it seems like she is trying to boost her confidence by fishing for compliments...
  • 2
    @potluck totally ✌🏻
  • 1
    But the question remains: is her company recruiting? If so, they could be morons that simply assume that software developers fall for this kind of shit.

    Ask her why she does what she is doing. If you trust she's real and honest, set up an informal (no talking about work more than what you do) date and find out.

    Sounds really fishy to me.

    That’s just weird!

    Anyway you look at this: it ain’t good.
  • 10
    @eeee they are hiring but when I jokingly asked she said this is not their usual approach πŸ˜€
  • 10
    @ everyone:
    * yep, I know it seems fishy
    * nope, she is not a bot (I doubt such an advanced chatbot is available in our native language)
    * if it's a dude he is doing a very professional job and invested way more time into this to make it seem real than it would worth
    * probably won't meet her but who knows...

    Hmm. Try and figure out what she wants. Keep a clear head about ya mate, and good luck.
  • 5
    After the selfies just ask her already to send you the link to the virus
  • 4
    @IAmNotARobot So, “she” is just waiting for you to respond with your own pictures or something to blackmail you with, or like @kortnevdmitriy says, a dodgy link. Don’t be a desperate dick. “She” has probably done the same thing to 300 other guys, waiting for one to bite. Don’t let it be you!

    Hungry like the woooooolf (for money).
  • 1
    I'd say it's a bot or scam of some kind. Search the photos on Google or something.
  • 3
    PHOTOS, or didn't happen
  • 1
    Damn! 🀣
  • 1
    @7400 legit.
  • 1
    Surely she's the member of another site that will allow you both to verify by credit card right?
  • 2
    Send her captcha, lol
  • 1
    "Intelligent"
  • 2
    Hmmm,so a company thats willing to do everything to recruit, ask for a cool machine
  • 2
    @jpichardo a cool machine like a Westworld android which looks like her? 😁
  • 2
    @IAmNotARobot that might be better than what i thought
  • 1
    You lucky bastard, nothing like this ever happens to me, it might be the fact that I am nearly 50, overweight, going grey and look terrible without my clothes on. So I'd better stop sending the pictures then...
  • 4
    screenshots or it didn't happen ^^

  • 3
    I second all fellow commenters with

    SCREENSHOT OR DID NOT HAPPEN
  • 2
    continue chatting until all layers of clothing have been removed.

    after that...
    ... well, who cares, she's either a bot, or a one kind of thot, or a different kind of thot, but hey, you got some nice pictures without even having to ask for them, so what more do u want?
  • 0
    @musikele @mak420 @antorqs nope, no screenshots. Most importantly because of privacy and stuff, but I don't want to post any inappropriate pics here either πŸ˜…
  • 2
    @IAmNotARobot Dude, put some emojis here and there to make it anonymous and friendly.

    We don't want to see the actual nudes...

    ...or... do we?
  • 2
    Sounds too good to be true haha, like a first compilation without errors... I think that hoping for the best you're gonna get fucked, but there's still a chance to get fucked (in a bad way). As a developer, I always keep in mind Murphy's law with everything good that is happening
  • 0
    @SpaceBearOne thanks, I'll try to remember this πŸ˜‰
  • 2
    That could be a scam but on the other hand we have this image.
  • 0
    Like dude.. you got to do what you got to do. Shes just grinding πŸ™power to her.
  • 2
    That's a nice selection method
