My biggest gripe with Linus is that despite his vocabulary, his product is a continuously evolving solution with a massive fanbase. And people have attributed his incredibly vocal responses to the success of Linux.

And I tend to agree with that, Linux being the open source software that it is, needs direction. Do you know why orchestras need conductors? It's because a musician, when left to their own accord, will vary their performance. And for distro is this is great. That leaves them with an incredible amount of freedom. But none of that will work if the underlying kernel isn't isn't competently written.

Does that mean that the rejection list for kernel development is really high? Yes! Does that mean that Linus has the right to be rude to people? Fuck no!

What Linus is has to do now is find some information about how to react people, get a therapist, and if after all of that he is still angry... A copy of Call of Duty.

Oh I forgot to answer the question. I think I was at my college when I heard the news.

@JohnScott totally going off on a tangent here but if he gets Call of Duty wouldn't he just be angrier because of the complete shitshow and watered down whitewash that is CoD now?
