Where could I get a shirt like that?

Wizard is also slang for a 30+ virgin. How apt.

    I want such a shirt! 😁

Don't fucking wear this. We need to stop making people think programming just magically works all the fucking time.

@Yamakuzure I'm not in the mood to deal with your shit today.

@JohnScott "My Shit" is nothing but the truth.

Have you *any* idea how often I have to defend myself against folk who are convinced that us devs are getting paid a fortune for sitting around all day while doing nothing but scratching our balls?

Beat it! They are thinking that and you won't change that by jumping down my throat.

What do _they_ know about endless single step sessions? Or the f*cking frustration when that goddamn shit that worked just fine yesterday suddenly shows you the middle finger going segfault?

That Shirt at least takes that with some humor.

@Yamakuzure I should have just left it alone.

I get that working as a developer is difficult. And I understand the humor in the shirt.

My argument is that computer illiteracy is intolerable.

When Bitcoin happened so many non-devs, and loads of companies, were exited about it it was "the future" but no one really knew what it was or how it worked.

Non-developers will always say stupid shit. But I think that the next step for us as a group, is to remove the mysticism behind what we do. Otherwise we might never get the credit we deserve.

    Edit: P.S. I apologize.

@JohnScott thank you very much. You are, of course, right and I wholeheartedly agree with you. It is just so annoyingly difficult to explain to people who are are already convinced we were an overpaid lazy bunch.

And after re-reading what I wrote, I apologize, too. I wreaked it on you which shouldn't have happened.

@Yamakuzure Thanks. Glad to see we could work this out. ✌️

@rEaL-jAy slaves? If anyone is not happy with the job, then it's upon them that they can quit. Slave is a harsh word. Developers, Programmers are not slaves. Good devs know there potential and won't stay in a place where they are treated like slaves. Only if anyone is a below average or average Dev, with pretty low self confidence..then they may be treated as slaves as they can't go no where else.
    Know the difference buddy.
    No hard feeling though.
