this fucking website sucks, why does it literally eat all of the memory when you type a rant? fuck this fucking website fr, crashed my browser while I was trying to verify my email

    it literally shot up to 8GBs of RAM, memory leaked all over me, brings me back to the good ol teenage years

    its fine as I browse it but if you make a dev rant i feel like it starts bugging the fuck out after a while

    @wojtek322 It's using 80MB for me. It's a ridiculous amount when you think about it. I remember when 64MB of RAM was a good spec.

    A lot of it is probably just not GC-ing things because there's no need, but still.

    @donkulator Agreed, it's probably too much but opening google.com and not searching anything consumes for me already 60mb.

    Websites are fucked but devrant is not the odd one out for me

    Two tabs in firefox with a total of like 90MB. I have ublock origin that is blocking 3 things. I suppose if those were not blocked it would take more.

    try opening devRant in a browser/mode where no extension is active. If it works fine, it's your ass. If it doesn't, it's mine. Deal?
