Sick.
Worst sleep of my life last night.
Freezing cold, weak, sore, can’t think, starving but can’t eat or drink, as low energy as a dead Chinese “heavy duty” battery.

Finished some changes to my feature today anyway; everything should be done now. Refactored some specs, and got them all to pass.

Falling asleep on my closet floor. Heavy winter coat, fuzzy pants, space heater. It’s warm in here and there’s a shelf for my lappy. Floor is uncomfortable but idc. I’m so tired and out of it I don’t even notice.

This sucks.

At least I have the rest of the week off.

    This is... terrible.

    And nobody is there to go through it with you... wow. Wish I could help in any way.

    @homo-lorens @Nosferatu Thanks.

    @neeno Yeah. It isn’t a cold, though. Whatever it is, it’s strange.

    PM added more feature requests.
    Oh well, he can screw off until next week.

    @neeno I might.

    @F1973 Idk. That’s probably some of it, plus stress, sick, and all these things exacerbating my “long covid.”

    When I started reading this, I immediately knew it was either you or SortOfTested. When I read about Chinese battery, I FELT that in my BONES.

    WHY is it so cold there though? What’s the reason? I’m too afraid to ask about heating

    @kiki Because I’ve been feverish.

    @kiki Quit life? 🤔

    While I wouldn’t mind skipping the next few days entirely, I’m not ready for such drastic measures.

    @Root quit that job that forces you to work like this. But who am I to decide for you. It’s always easy to go radical when it’s not about my own life

    @kiki They didn’t force me to do it. It was one day and I had four days off after. The update and specs were difficult but I managed.

    If they forced me to work on my days off, I would tell them no.

    Often, we are given furniture that we are not comfortable with. This can greatly add to your stress levels. For instance, having an uncomfortable chair can increase neck and back pain. Some people also get headaches when they are sitting under LED lights for too long. If you focus on getting more comfortable by bringing in the proper furniture, you can reduce stress at the workplace.

    @Root @VirtualBooth is a weird thing, they're clearly smarter than a bot and relevant enough that it's very hard to classify their content as spam even though it does sound like advertisements.
