C0D4681383yEdge.
Why? Because after using chrome from its original beta days till now was a great ride, but I don't have a terabyte of ram for it.
Edge despite being Microsoft, is oddly not a shit as a MS product is expected to be, it doesn't make it great though.
Firefox I've never liked and it's gone down hill over time too so not much of a reason to try and switch again. -
NamanB2053y@C0D4 I personally use EDGE myself,
I was attracted towards it bcoz of its many unique features
- Vertical tabs (i prefer them over those old top tab bars)
- Option for temporaray downloads (i honestly love this one, you can choose the stuff u download to open just once and get deleted or to save it locally,
It really comes in handy when downloading software setups and just random documents)
Ps. These were not in chrome when i shifted to edge. -
I've been using brave for about 3 years now. Works just like Chrome but with the added shield for blocking ads
-
iiii92193yFirefox because I just have too many integral stuff modified that any chromium just isn't capable of because of the castrated API (even in comparison to the latest Firefox API)
-
Root825993yFirefox, Lynx, Tor (which is technically Firefox)
I’ve never used Vivaldi. I did use Opera for awhile, but it was buggy and unreliable.
I only use chrome at work for google-related development, e.g. google wallet passes; never personally. -
stop68673yPrivate:
firefox - because i like how i have set it up (some stuff is not possible with others)
chromium - for the rare cases i need a browser with a different engine
Work:
chrome - its the only browser that works with 99% internal pages
ie - for the FUCKING 1 % -
Vivaldi. I was FF user since FF 3, but I couldn't bear Mozilla's BS anymore, so I changed to Vivaldi some years ago. It's nice, not Chrome nor Edge, it doesn't look different upon every update, and it doesn't break existing features.

@stop Yeah, when they axed the add-ons, they killed the FF's unique selling point. Extensions are not a replacement, you get them on Chromium browsers as well, and actually earlier because that has a larger user base after Mozilla drove their users away.
-
Still on Firefox (for many many years now) but Mozilla is trying hard to drive me away.

Chromium because it has the best security model to keep all the bloat (which every competing browser also has) in check.
-
Been a Firefox user for many years, but I'm probably going to switch soon. It's been going downhill since they axed the old addon system, but the UI changes in the last few updates will be the final nail in the coffin.
Tree Style Tabs was the main reason I stuck with FF for so long, but other browsers have vertical tab trees now. -
Firefox most of the time. Using for months now and not once has it bogged the system down or had a crash like chromium-based browsers (I just find it stable, and it works well with some animation-heavy pages I've made, for personal use).
Edge since it's already there in Windows, whenever I'm in Windows (not a lot since it's on HDD and takes 2 days to fully boot) -
@iiii I never had problems with Vivaldi, neither on several Win 7/8 machines, nor now on several Linux ones.
-
firefox because it has adblock on mobile :)
and at least mozilla cares about the users
