int holds an integer value
int* holds the storage adress of where an integer value is
int** holds the storage adress of where the storage adresse of an integer value is stored

@anux if you learnt C, there are things called pointer which shows where (address) a variable is stored in memory, hence memory address as explained before. This is done by adding * to the data type of the variable which means that it's a pointer to an int variable, a ** on the data type means that it's a pointer to a pointer; hence the meme.
