    My favorite is when the mgr has an important meeting, doesn't invite you (on purpose?), then berates you in the meeting in front of other mgrs/VPs ("I can't believe PaperTrail was so disrespectful and not attend."). Later when the mgr confronts ...

    Me: "Meeting? I was never invited...it is not on my calander ....see ..." <sends a screenshot of my open/meeting-free calendar>

    2 minutes later, the meeting invite shows up in my calendar.

    <Mgr is sure to cc the other mgrs/VPs that were in the meeting>

    Mgr: "Must have been a system glitch. See, you are in the meeting invite. From now on, every morning when you get here, look in your calendar and make sure you don't miss any more meetings."

    @PaperTrail “Here is my letter of resignation.” would be my reply.

    You guys get emails when you invited to the meeting right? Expose their toxicity to everyone in company and get them fired. If you get fired everyone will see how toxic your whole company and will left soon enough. You can also sue them after you leave. This is sad and unacceptable.

    @hack While it's a nice sentiment, I don't think you can sue anyone based on the fact of receiving a meeting email or not.

    @fullstackclown of course. I mean you can sue them if they fire you because you exposed incopentence and toxicity of higher management which is invalid reason to fire someone in my opinion.

    @PeterDCarter > "very odd"

    Odd indeed. I knew he "forgot" to add me to the meeting invite, then hurried back to his desk and added me after-the-fact, but I couldn't prove it. Even if I could, who would listen? Who would care? If I were a VP, I would see the situation as petty bickering and stand behind the manager, because that is what VPs do.

    @PaperTrail apologies, I didn't mean to imply one way or another, but I feel your vibes now and I get it

    @PaperTrail but Dilbert is a view on life, not all the facets of a diamond

    @PeterDCarter As a random side note, I suggest you change your username ASAP... unless it's a parody / fictional character... then all is well

    @PeterDCarter I admire your honesty. I got quite too rude to reveal my true superhero clown name.
