Root825572yThree years here. Longest I’ve worked for any company.
I’ve stayed because of constant life upheaval (such as buying a house and moving), and also: long-term debilitating sickness plus burnout has made finding a better job extremely difficult.
So I haven’t really stayed by choice. -
C0D4681452y8 years here, only job I've stayed longer then 3 years in.
For me, it's a mixture of not wanting to restart someone else's transformation, and being determined enough to this places digital transformation through.
Its a mammoth of a roadmap, ambitious enough to fail, and challenging enough to please.
That's not to say I haven't come close to quitting a few times, but my current manager keeps paying me more, probably in fear of loosing me, but he's a good guy and gives me enough freedom to do what I need to do, but enough responsibility to keep my ego in check, I'm living the dream on that front, although being in a retailer, the dream has its nightmares too. -
